Tomato face'sBe cozy! 2007/04/01 Let's back in the Russian days. II(continue)
Woooooow!!! -- Amazing!! We marveled at one of the rooms inside the palace. The walls, ceiling, and all the decorating were made of amber which was produced from the Baltic sea. It's one of the most famous scenes in St. Petersburg. We congratulated on staying. After finished visiting the palace, the problem came out, we had to think about how to get back in the hotel we lived.
 One night before, we went for shopping in downtown with another two of the group members. I remebered that we took bus NO. 17. Means we found how to get to downtown we found the way back.
Thankful for the officer who speaks english there. We got the answer. Soon, we were at the bus stop where was told. Successfully, we got "home".
 Meanwhile, the other group members were on the way to watch Ballet, who were told that was the best Ballet in Russia. We didn't buy it. Once we watched it in Beijing, the Swan Lake, performed by National Ballet Corps of Russia. That was the best, 'cause the national leaders showed up, but the one performed for travel groups.
 Instead, we enjoyed the typical Russian food at the restaurant of the hotel. From Appetizer to Dessert, it's nothing less than a big meal. Ha ha!!
 However, we always had Chinese food during the trip in Russia.

We were there with the group, but what a tour guide they sent!
One day, we went to the summer palace of Catherine II out of town. The tour guide only bought us the tickets for entering the garden but the palace. Well, yup, the garden is very beautiful with extremly perfect gardening and statues, but not enough be knowing the history and culture. We spent an hour and a half walking around the garden, soon, we decided to stay for longer and bought the tickets to get inside the palace. Meanwhile, our group was just calling together and leaving. Ha! After a fight with the tour leader through the phone, we prefered forgetting them and enjoy the discovery within the luxurious building......(continue) 2007/03/27 Ashamed.It's ashamed that I haven't update my space for over a half of year. But I don't wanna give up it again. Try to write more, share more. 2006/10/13 Russian daysI´ve been to Russia for nine days, I´ll tell the new stories...but now is time to get to bed.  |
